There were no shortages of standout plays from last week’s slate of high school football action across the country. One play in particular seemed to strike a chord with most as USA TODAY Sports top Play of the Week.
The touchdown connection from Cass Tech (MI) quarterback and Texas A&M five-star commit Donald Tabron II to 2028 three-star receiver Mylan Griggs was voted USA TODAY Sports Play of the Week by the USA TODAY Sports audience.

Already leading 14-0 with 3:44 remaining in the first quarter, Tabron rolled right on a play action and fired up a pass to Griggs in the end zone. Blanketed by a Michigan City corner, Griggs rose up to make an incredible touchdown grab over the corner who didn’t even have time to look back.
Cass Tech rolled to a dominant 62-0 win. Tabron attempted just nine attempts in the win, completing four for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
